Job Summary of Equipment Handler:

Your role as a Walmart Maintenance team member demands timely equipment repairs and routine maintenance work at the Distribution Center. Using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), you will document and coordinate all activities. In this role, being focused on safety and giving meticulous attention to detail is imperative to meet the demands of a physically laborious environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Equipment Handler:

• Prioritize the maintenance and repair of equipment based on its criticality to the smooth operation of the business.
• Use standardized systems and measures to restore equipment to operational status as per protocols.
• Understand technical plans, like blueprints and schematics, to proficiently conduct equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Investigate advanced equipment problems that may require unconventional solutions, demanding a highly creative approach.
• Collaborate with operations persoel and other technicians to help maintain facility operations.
• CMMS software provides a comprehensive solution for managing workloads, enabling users to record and track work orders, asset history, and inventory usage with ease.
• Effective communication requires active participation and engagement from both the speaker and listener.
• Handle equipment and operate battery-powered machinery to meet operational needs.
• Perform daily upkeep and troubleshooting measures on diverse machinery and tools to prevent malfunctions and accidents.

Qualifications and Experience of Equipment Handler:

• Industrial maintenance expertise in electronic technology is essential for this role. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent certification or coursework.
• Candidates must have a minimum of one year working in either industrial refrigeration or HVAC, and a strong dedication to obtaining and maintaining all necessary certifications.
