Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cashier Lead:

• Extend a cordial and inviting greeting when customers arrive at the checkout.
• Provide assistance to patrons in discovering merchandise, responding to inquiries about items, and offering counsel on store regulations.
• Manage customer complaints, concerns, and queries in a skilled fashion, ensuring their contentment before departing from the checkout area.
• Skillfully operate the POS system to avoid errors in coding and pricing of items and to ensure accurate scaing.
• While complying with Walmart's cash handling policies, payments are processed through various options such as cash, credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments.
• Be cautious of fraudulent and counterfeit coupons and promotional codes and report them to the relevant authorities.
• Pack your belongings in a well-organized and structured maer, while keeping fragile and perishable items segregated for their protection.
• Maintaining a balanced cash drawer is necessary, and it can be achieved by reconciling all cash transactions before and after your shift.
• Confirm the precise amount of cash, coins, and checks, ensuring that there are no discrepancies or errors.
• Adopting security measures is crucial in preventing theft, and this can include checking for fake cash and carefully observing behavior that appears unusual.
• By staying informed of ongoing promotions, sales, and new product offerings, businesses can expand their potential for add-on sales and upselling.
• Create accessory packages for smartwatches, including screen protectors, bands, and chargers, to improve their functionality and style.
• The checkout zone should regularly undergo cleaning, disinfecting to ensure it remains clean, organized, and hygienic.
• Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations by monitoring and replenishing essential supplies like bags and receipt paper.
• Work effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless coordination of tasks and timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications and Experience of Cashier Lead:

• The ideal candidate should hold a high school diploma or an equivalent certificate.
• While having previous work experience as a cashier or in customer service can be an asset, it is not a must-have.
