Job Summary of Meat and Produce Support:

As a Meat/Produce Associate at Walmart, your primary job is to ensure that the Fresh section remains stocked, products are rotated regularly, and food safety standards are maintained to the highest degree. The Associate will also be tasked with moving merchandise to the sales floor and ensuring Fresh displays are kept in good shape throughout the day.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Meat and Produce Support:

• Transport the recently received goods to the display section.
• It is crucial to ensure that the exhibits are well-maintained and displayed appropriately.
• Regularly changing the position of items helps to prevent them from becoming stale and unappealing.
• Follow appropriate procedures for storing, handling, and cooking foods to prevent contamination.
• Assist with sorting and arranging items in the Fresh aisle to ensure a neat and orderly presentation.
• Anticipate that your supervisor may need you to perform various tasks that are not listed in your job description.

Qualifications and Experience of Meat and Produce Support:

• It is preferred that the candidate has previous exposure to a retail or grocery setting.
• Some essential food safety principles that everyone needs to know include washing hands frequently, using clean utensils and equipment, keeping raw and cooked foods separate, cooking food to the correct temperature, and avoiding cross-contamination.
• Aptitude for carrying and transferring substantial materials.
• Accomplished in detecting even the minutest of details and aptitude in organizing tasks at a high level.
