Pharmacy Pre Grad Intern

Job Summary:

You will ensure confidentiality of information, assist with processing prescriptions, and support the pharmacy team in providing excellent customer service. You will stock and secure pharmacy supplies, handle customer inquiries, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area. This role requires following all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure confidentiality of information and maintain proper documentation according to company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Assist with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases, stocking, and securing pharmacy supplies.
• Provide customer service by assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving customer issues, and promoting products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
• Operate equipment like cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types.
• Receive and stock merchandise from distribution centers, organize and maintain the pharmacy area, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain the pharmacy area by properly handling claims, returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Maintain merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking, rotating merchandise, removing outdated goods, and organizing product displays.

Salary:

• Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $28.00 (actual rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage based on location).
• Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may vary depending on the regional pay zone (RPZ) and sales volume category (SVC) of the facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification (Certification preferred).
