Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cashier Associate:

• Take advantage of handheld devices or picking lists to search for and fetch merchandise from designated storage locations within the warehouse.
• Navigate through storage racks and aisles with ease to retrieve items with accuracy and attention to detail, resulting in complete orders.
• A crucial step to fulfilling the customer's needs is by verifying the quality, quantities, and details of a product before packing it.
• Implement secure packing techniques by utilizing proper cushioning materials such as packing peanuts and bubble wrap when shipping products in sturdy boxes.
• Tag containers with all necessary shipping information, barcodes, tracking numbers, and other required paperwork.
• Use the warehouse management system to document the selected and packed items for shipment, ensuring accurate inventory records.
• Let your management team know about any inventory discrepancies or shortages for prompt resolution and to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Before selecting and packing the products, be certain to visually inspect them in detail for any deviations, faults, or damages.
• Preventing accidents and injuries in the warehouse requires strict adherence to established safety measures and guidelines.
• Ensure equipment is used safely and keep a tidy work area to maximize productivity.

Qualifications and Experience of Cashier Associate:

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is the preferred level of education for this position.
• Prospective candidates who possess experience in order picking, warehouse operations, or similar fields may be at an advantage.
• Candidates who are well-versed with handheld devices and warehouse management systems are preferred for the job.
• Dedicated pursuit of precision and accuracy in the selection and packaging of goods.
• Possessing exemplary organizational and time management skills is an asset.
