Job Summary of Merchandise and Stocking Associate:

Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. From everyday needs to special occasions, members need you, as their mini tour guide, to take them to that special product. Depending on the shift you work, your job could include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, or helping members while stocking shelves. From unloading trucks in the summer to filling ice cream in the freezer, this fast-paced job can be physically demanding - it’s like being paid to go to the gym! Job Duties and Responsibilities of Merchandise and Stocking Associate:

• Promptly unload trucks and assist with sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom.
• Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store.
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Ensure club pick up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging according to company policy.
• Follow safety procedures, including safety sweeps and forklift spotting.
• Ensure proper rotation of food and merchandise and compliance with code dating and sanitation standards.
• Promote the company’s products and services while resolving member issues and concerns.

Qualifications and Experience of Merchandise and Stocking Associate:

• Comfortable with fast-paced environments and quick adaptation to changes.
• Ability to lift boxes and heavy objects weighing more than 25 pounds.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle obstacles head-on.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Salary:

• Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $24.00.
• Additional compensation through premiums ($0.35 to $3.00 per hour) based on schedule, location, and work performed.
