Job Summary of Cashier & Front End:

You play a key role in providing excellent customer service at Walmart by greeting, thanking, and assisting customers with their needs. The job involves handling tasks like scanning items, explaining prices, and maintaining a clean workspace, all while keeping up with a fast-paced environment, especially during busy times like evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your positive attitude, multitasking abilities, and passion for customer service are key to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cashier & Front End:

• Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude
• Stand for long periods of time while checking out customers quickly and accurately
• Keep your area clean and presentable
• Answer customer questions and assist with their needs
• Be available to assist associates across the store as needed
• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression
• Gather carts from the parking lot and operate equipment to move carts inside
• Clean restrooms, sales floors, and parking lot as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude in all weather conditions

Qualifications and Experience of Cashier & Front End:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to multitask efficiently and assist in various areas of the store
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean work environment

Salary:

• Hourly wage range: $15.00 to $26.00 (actual rate may exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location)
• Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives
• Premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances
