Job Summary of Facility Maintenance Associate:

As a Facility Custodian at Walmart, your responsibilities will include handling the processing of merchandise and keeping track of supply inventory, in addition to managing the cleanliness and safety of the facility.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Facility Maintenance Associate:

• Utilize both oral and written communication to engage with individuals and teams (e.g., customers, providers, coworkers).
• Keep the facility safe and tidy by managing the amount of garbage, baling cardboard, and maintaining equipment.
• Streamline the handling of goods by shifting pallets and confirming appropriate box quantities for the benefit of order collectors.
• Maintain the upkeep of the facility by performing various tasks, such as operating maintenance equipment and carrying out cleaning activities.
• If you come across any hazardous situations or maintenance issues, it is recommended to report them to the appropriate department or person in charge.

Qualifications and Experience of Facility Maintenance Associate:

• Prior experience in facility maintenance or custodial duties would be advantageous.
• Competency in operating and handling cleaning and maintenance equipment efficiently.

Salary:

• If you work for an hour, you will be paid a wage that falls between $19.60 and $23.10.
• Further Payment: Perquisites granted for exceeding expectations and extra benefits offered in the form of performance bonuses and premiums, with a range of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, that are dependent on schedule, facility, season, or particular job undertaken.
