Power Equipment Operator
Job Summary of Power Equipment Operator:
You will be responsible for moving products through the Distribution network to stores, ensuring customers receive the products they expect at an everyday low price. This physically demanding role involves operating power equipment, lifting heavy cases, and adhering to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment with high productivity expectations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Power Equipment Operator:
Powered Equipment Operations:
- Operate moving equipment safely to transport freight, pull merchandise, and fill orders in a timely manner.
- Deliver freight to designated areas in the facility accurately and efficiently.
- Report any unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures to management.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
Yard Driver (On Property):
- Safely drive tractor/trailers within the facility, ensuring accurate and timely transportation of trailers.
- Adhere to safety regulations while operating tractor/trailers.
- Maintain a clean and safe yard environment.
Qualifications and Experience of Power Equipment Operator:
- Yard Driver: Valid state-issued driver’s license and 6 months of experience operating tractor/trailer units.

Salary:
- Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $28.65 (actual rate may exceed the required minimum wage)
- Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives
- Premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, location, and work performed
