Material Handler

Job Summary of Material Handler:

As a Power Equipment Operator at Walmart Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in moving products through our distribution network to service our customers. Your responsibilities include operating power equipment to transport and manage freight, ensuring customers receive the products they expect at everyday low prices. This physically demanding role requires a strong focus on safety for yourself and others, as well as the ability to work in extreme climates and fast-paced environments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Material Handler:

• Transport freight, pull merchandise, replace freight, fill daily orders, and control freight flow using moving equipment safely and correctly.
• Deliver freight to appropriate facility areas accurately and timely.
• Report unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures to management.
• Maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Safely drive tractor/trailers within the facility, adhering to all regulations (company, local, state, and federal).
• Transport trailers to designated destinations on facility property accurately and timely.
• Report unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures to management.

Qualifications and Experience of Material Handler:

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Minimum of 6 months experience operating tractor/trailer units.
