Qualifications and Experience of Doctor of Optometry:
- A Doctor of Optometry (OD) graduate from an accredited optometry program or an Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an approved institution is necessary.
- A valid state-issued license in optometry or ophthalmology is required.
- General Liability Certificate.
- A professional indemnity insurance certificate serves as proof of protection against claims of negligence or misconduct.
