Job Summary of Sales Associate:

As a Walmart Associate, you play an instrumental role in creating a memorable shopping experience for customers. Whether you work as a Cashier or as part of the Cart and Janitorial team, the customers’ interaction is directly linked to how you represent Walmart. You will handle transactions, maintain a clean store, and help with the daily operations of the store. By doing so, you assist in upholding Walmart's promise to customer satisfaction and operational excellency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Associate:

• Always greet customers with a friendly smile and maintain a positive mindset throughout the interaction.
• Conduct speedy scaing of products, ensure accurate processing of transactions, and provide courteous assistance with customer concerns.
• By keeping your checkout area in order, you can minimize the risk of lost sales and potential customer complaints.
• Step in to aid fellow associates as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience across all store departments.

• An inviting environment can be created by gathering carts from the parking lot and regularly cleaning restrooms, sales floor, and parking areas to maintain a clean and organized space.
• Move carts around safely and ensure proper store presentation using equipment.
• Exhibit a positive outlook and a determined spirit, come rain, wind, or snow, to consistently meet customers' expectations.

Qualifications and Experience of Sales Associate:

• Exuding positivity and a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Being adept at juggling several responsibilities and performing well in a fast-moving workplace.
• Working in varying weather conditions and standing for extended periods are prerequisites for individuals seeking to fill Cart and Janitorial roles.
• There are no stipulated educational requirements for this job, however, having prior retail experience may prove beneficial.
