Job Summary of Custodial and Maintenance Worker:

Tasked with maintaining the upkeep of the Walmart facility, you will be responsible for managing trash removal, equipment maintenance, and guaranteeing a well-maintained, secure atmosphere.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Custodial and Maintenance Worker:

• Engage in verbal and written correspondence with individuals or groups (e.g., clients, suppliers, associates).
• Proper sanitation and safety measures can be maintained by overseeing the trash levels, the removal and compaction of cardboard, and regularly monitoring the equipment.
• Simplify the organization of merchandise by transferring pallets and ensuring enough box supplies for order pickers to use.
• Carry out upkeep activities in the facility, including cleaning and using maintenance equipment as necessary for continued maintenance.
• To prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace, it is crucial to report any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to the management as soon as possible.

Qualifications and Experience of Custodial and Maintenance Worker:

• Applicants with experience in facility maintenance or custodial work are preferred.
• Capability to effectively use tools and machines for cleaning and upkeep purposes.
• Safety and housekeeping procedures are vital for maintaining a safe and orderly workspace, hence a fundamental understanding of these procedures is necessary.

Salary:

• Your hourly wage is determined within the bounds of $19.60 and $23.10.
• Additional Pay: Commissions given in recognition of outstanding performance and extras provided in the form of incentives and bonuses, which can have a value ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, and are subject to variation depending on the schedule, establishment, season or job type.
