Job Summary of Food Freshness Associate:

The role of a Meat/Produce Associate at Walmart involves upholding high food safety standards, rotating products, and ensuring that the Fresh area is fully stocked. The Associate is also responsible for maintaining Fresh displays and transferring incoming merchandise onto the sales floor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Food Freshness Associate:

• Move the fresh merchandise onto the shelves for sale.
• Maintaining the exhibits in their pristine state is a must.
• In order to maintain high standards of freshness, it is important to rotate products regularly.
• Maintain strict standards for food hygiene and sanitation to prevent foodborne illnesses.
• Aid in the management and upkeep of merchandise in the Fresh section.
• Be flexible and adaptable in your work environment, as you may be required to perform tasks outside of your job description.

Qualifications and Experience of Food Freshness Associate:

• Preferably, the applicant should have prior experience in a retail or grocery environment.
• Essential Food Safety Principles.
• Skill in hoisting and shifting heavy loads.
• Capability to pay close attention to intricate aspects and proficiency in handling organizational tasks.
