Job Summary of Operations Manager:

The Walmart Logistics Operations Manager has the task of creating and implementing a business plan that aligns with the facility's objectives in terms of safety, quality, and production. Additionally, this role entails managing financial resources, ensuring compliance with standards, and supervising personnel to drive operational improvements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Operations Manager:

• Effectively interact and exchange information with individuals or teams verbally or through written communication, such as emails and reports.
• Develop and put into action a coherent plan that meets the facility's targets and propels performance enhancements.
• Project and observe workforce needs, work quantities, and overall productivity outcomes to align with business requirements.
• Be responsible for monitoring the financial performance of the company by keeping track of expenses, asset utilization, and report preparation.
• Sustain adherence to quality and safety criteria by keeping up with procedures and backing them up with documentation.
• Utilize your judgement or seek input from others when resolving concerns raised by associates, clients, or suppliers.
• Act as a bridge between the company and the community by being an active member of local organizations while creating awareness about promotional programs offered by the company.
• Control and handle associates and superiors by offering support, evaluations, and chances for advancement.
• Guarantee the adherence and execution of company guidelines and measures while also taking part in the selection, mentoring, and appraisal of staff members.

Qualifications and Experience of Operations Manager:

• The completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business or a relevant discipline, such as Business Administration, Logistics, or Management, is mandatory.
• We require someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a senior manager in operations, logistics, or distribution, or as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager.
• Candidates must have occupied a senior management role in a comparable environment for a minimum of 4 years.
• It is essential to finish all necessary training and assessments required for the job.

Salary:

The yearly compensation can vary between $89,500 to $192,500

Employees have the potential to earn extra compensation through annual or quarterly performance-based bonuses that supplement their base salaries. In addition, there may be opportunities for regional compensation adjustments or stock options.
