Bilingual (Spanish/English) Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

This full-time role requires onsite work in Carrollton, TX, with open availability between 7 AM and 7 PM, including at least one weekend shift per week. The role involves managing pharmacy inventory, ensuring medication accuracy, and supporting pharmacy operations to deliver high-quality service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality, accuracy, and integrity of pharmaceutical inventory using automated inventory control systems.
• Monitor and track inventory levels, expiration dates, and stock rotation to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Calibrate and maintain pharmacy systems and technology, including automated medication counting machines.
• Process and document inventory control procedures, including handling recalled and expired pharmaceuticals.
• Support facility reporting and paperwork to ensure compliance and productivity.
• Assist pharmacists in prescription fulfillment, maintaining pharmacy merchandise, and handling customer claims and returns.
• Ensure proper medication packaging, labeling, and distribution while meeting quality and production goals.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must hold an active national certification certificate from PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT).
• Registered as a pharmacy technician with the state of Texas (pharmacy technician trainees are not eligible).
• Experience in pharmacy operations is preferred.

Salary

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.50 - $23.50. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and other location-based pay adjustments.
