Physical Security Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Badge and Credentialing Specialist to manage and verify badge credentialing, issue badges, monitor usage, and support security operations. This role ensures proper request forms are submitted, maintains badge status records, and provides facility access information to management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify badge credentialing processes.
• Issue badges to associates and non-associates as per company policy.
• Monitor badge usage and maintain security compliance.
• Provide updates on badge status and facility access to management.
• Explain badge denials and credentialing issues to requestors.
• Identify and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
• Adapt to changes, feedback, and challenges effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion and maintenance of Physical Security Specialist Training Academy within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, emergency services, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in corporate security, emergency operations, or law enforcement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or Sociology.
• CPR/BCLS Certification.

Salary:

• Hourly wage range: $27.00 - $52.00.
• Additional compensation premiums based on schedule, facility, or work type.
