Job Duties and Responsibilities of Storefront Cashier:

• To make customers feel valued and respected, it's crucial to greet them with a friendly smile, a welcoming greeting, and a heartfelt thank-you.
• Remain standing for prolonged periods while quickly and accurately checking out customers.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of your surroundings is important.
• When interacting with customers, I approach every conversation with empathy, patience, and a willingness to listen.
• Always remain ready to assist colleagues should they require help in any part of the store.
• Smart businesses understand the value of making a strong initial impression and leaving a lasting positive impression to ensure customer retention and growth.
• Collect the scattered carts left in the parking lot.
• Utilize specialized equipment to move carts from the exterior of the store to the interior.
• Be responsible for the management of restroom, sales section, and parking lot cleanliness as needed.
• Let your positivity shine through even on dreary days.

Qualifications and Experience of Storefront Cashier:

• The preferred candidate for this role has completed high school or attained the equivalent certification.
• It can be advantageous to have previous involvement in retail or customer service.
• Being able to communicate effectively and remain optimistic in difficult situations can set you apart as a leader in your field.
• Skillfulness to withstand long hours of standing and deal with arduous tasks.
• The potential to carry and move heavy things (up to 50 pounds) without straining.
• The task entails standing, bending, and reaching for a prolonged duration which necessitates above-average physical endurance.
