Job Summary of Facility Custodian:

Your role as a Facility Custodian at Walmart entails overseeing the maintenance of the facility, such as clearing refuse, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the surroundings are hygienic and secure for customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Facility Custodian:

• Exchange information with people or teams through spoken and written communication methods (e.g., clients, vendors, colleagues).
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facility by keeping a check on the trash levels and monitoring the equipment.
• Facilitate the management of merchandise inventory by transferring pallets and verifying sufficient box numbers for use by order fillers.
• Conduct maintenance procedures, such as operating equipment and cleaning, to ensure facility cleanliness and functionality.
• It is imperative to notify management about any unsafe conditions or issues with maintenance in the workplace to ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees.

Qualifications and Experience of Facility Custodian:

• A background in facility maintenance or custodial positions is desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing maintenance and cleaning machinery optimally.
• A fundamental comprehension of safety and housekeeping procedures is crucial to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

Salary:

• The compensation for each hour of work falls in the range of $19.60 to $23.10.
