Job Summary of Fresh Produce Team Member:

If you are working as a Meat/Produce Associate at Walmart, your main priority is to ensure that the Fresh section is always stocked, the products are rotated properly, and that the food safety standards are met at all times. Additionally, you will be responsible for moving new merchandise onto the sales floor and ensuring that Fresh displays are kept in good condition throughout the day.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Fresh Produce Team Member:

• Relocate the inventory that has just arrived to the shopping vicinity.
• Proper maintenance of the displays is essential to retain their freshness.
• To preserve the quality of the goods, it is recommended to frequently move them around and prevent stagnation.
• Comply with recommended food handling and preparation guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Provide assistance with the organization and maintenance of goods in the Fresh department.
• Expect that you may be asked to assume additional responsibilities beyond your regular duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience of Fresh Produce Team Member:

• Past exposure to a retail or grocery atmosphere is desirable.
• Having basic knowledge of food safety guidelines is crucial if you work in the food service industry. These standards are put in place to ensure that food is handled, prepared, and served safely to avoid consumers getting sick.
• Proficiency in lifting and relocating weighty items.
• Proficient in exhibiting a keen eye for detail and outstanding organizational abilities.
