Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary

As a Walmart Rx Manager, you'll lead the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care and managing pharmacy operations. You’ll leverage your clinical knowledge and business acumen to enhance patient services and drive pharmacy growth. Your role is pivotal in setting the standard for patient care, advocating for community health, and leading a motivated team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care by accurately dispensing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and implementing Walmart's health programs.
• Drive sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management.
• Model and enforce customer service approaches, supervise and develop associates, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, including wellness events, and promote pharmacy involvement in local initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, oversee safety and quality assurance reviews, and manage loss prevention controls.
• Monitor and manage budgets, financial performance, and inventory flow to align with business goals and ensure proper financial practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
• Pharmacy license (required by job entry date).
• Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• U.S. pharmacy-related experience.

Salary

• Annual salary range: $112,000.00 - $197,000.00
• Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and other incentives based on location and facility sales volume.
