Janitorial Associate

Job Summary:

As part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across various areas of the store, from the parking lot to the restrooms, ensuring that the store leaves a positive first and last impression. Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the store, including parking lot, restrooms, aisles, and receiving areas.
• Ensure safe and efficient cleaning operations, using cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all areas.
• Address spills, trash, and other messes promptly to ensure safety for customers and associates.
• Regularly inspect facilities for cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work efficiently within a team to ensure all areas are maintained to company standards.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle various cleaning tasks simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Must be able to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning equipment safely.

Salary:

• Hourly wage: $16 - $23 per hour.
