Job Summary of Distribution Stocker:

The Walmart Stocker is responsible for ensuring the availability of products to customers while working with the store team to maintain organization on the sales floor. In order to restock merchandise during non-business hours, you may be required to work overnight or early morning shifts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Distribution Stocker:

• Follow Walmart's criteria for unloading merchandise from trucks and stocking shelves, ensuring that their standards are met.
• Collaborate with the inventory team by conducting regular stock audits to ensure all records and quantities align.
• Having a well-maintained and organized backroom area are essential for proper merchandise storage and labeling.
• An essential part of great customer service involves assisting shoppers in finding products and providing answers to their inquiries.
• The safety of employees is of the utmost importance, making it essential to follow safety procedures.
• Function effectively as a team by working in concert to accomplish tasks and cultivating a beneficial work environment.

Qualifications and Experience of Distribution Stocker:

• Candidates with a high school diploma or its equivalent will be given preference in the hiring process.
• Having previous retail experience may be advantageous, but it is not mandatory to apply for this position.
• Power to lift weighty materials and undertake demanding duties.
• Impeccable attention to detail and stellar organizational competencies.
• Strong communication proficiency and excellent people skills.
• This job's nature demands the willingness to work on diverse shifts that could involve weekends, night shifts, and public holidays.
