Yard Driver-On Property

Job Summary:

This role involves operating various types of power equipment, including lift trucks, motorized pallet jacks, stock pickers, clamp lifts, and on-property yard drivers. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will be responsible for handling merchandise efficiently while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate power equipment such as forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, and stock pickers.
• Safely handle and transport merchandise within the warehouse.
• Follow operational and safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking and assist in stocking and replenishing supplies.
• Perform regular equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting, meeting productivity goals.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or equipment handling is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain certification to operate power equipment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise, up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Salary:

• Hourly wage: $21.30 - $24.80 per hour.
• Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
