Job Duties and Responsibilities of Heavy Equipment Operator:

• Operate power equipment to transport and move freight throughout the distribution facility, including pulling, replacing, and filling orders.
• Maintain high standards of safety by operating moving equipment in a safe maer and promptly reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Handle heavy cases and merchandise while adhering to safety protocols and productivity standards.
• Drive tractor/trailers on the facility property in accordance with company, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Transport trailers to designated areas accurately and on time, ensuring efficient flow of operations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas to uphold safety standards and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications and Experience of Heavy Equipment Operator:

• Valid state-issued driver's license required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience operating tractor/trailer units.
• Ability to operate power equipment safely and efficiently in a high-paced environment.
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in varying climates.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
