Job Summary of Inventory Specialist:
A fundamental aspect of a Freight Handler's role at Walmart is to maintain the integrity of the supply chain by managing freights efficiently and fulfilling duties such as receiving, unloading, processing, order-filling, and shipping whilst adhering to safety and operational standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Inventory Specialist:
- Handle the movement of goods by undertaking activities such as receiving, unloading, categorizing, fulfilling requests, and dispatching products.
- Observing safety and operational benchmarks is non-negotiable in carrying out all tasks.
- Regular communication can foster a positive team culture and help build strong relationships with both team members and supervisors.
- Consistently monitor and adjust the management of your inventory to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Be an active participant in initiatives that strive to enhance operational efficiency on a continual basis.
Qualifications and Experience of Inventory Specialist:
- While not mandatory, those with a high school diploma or its comparable equivalent may find themselves at an advantage when applying for this position.
- Previous employment in freight handling or warehouse operations is an asset for this position.
- Aptitude to raise and relocate bulky objects safely and efficiently.
- Being uncompromising on safety and having an exceptional attention to detail.

Salary:
The hourly pay for this position ranges from $18.70 to $22.20
In addition to regular pay, one may receive other forms of compensation such as quarterly or aual bonuses based on performance, and premium pay, which could be afforded under certain circumstances.
