Job Summary of General Merchandise:

As a Sales Associate at Walmart, you will play a pivotal role in assisting customers across various departments such as Apparel, Entertainment, Toys, Sporting Goods, and more. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customers find the products they need, from everyday essentials to special occasion items, while providing exceptional service that enhances their shopping experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of General Merchandise:

• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise, providing guidance and recommendations as needed.
• Keep aisles clean, organized, and well-stocked to enhance the shopping environment.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow associates to maintain efficient store operations.
• Answer customer inquiries and address concerns promptly and courteously.
• Fulfill online customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product selection and timely delivery.
• Occasionally assist with checkout processes to expedite customer transactions.
