The responsibilities of this position include maintaining the presentation of merchandise, operating tools and equipment, and managing the sales floor while abiding by company regulations. Other tasks will include cash handling and the sale of liquor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Alcoholic Beverage Cashier:

• To keep the facility safe, it is paramount to comply with all safety standards, protocols, and guidelines, including performing safety audits and reporting any potential risks or unsafe situations.
• Provide unmatched customer support by aiding customers in making smart purchase decisions, tracking down merchandise, resolving challenges, and promoting company offerings.
• Ensure that the merchandise looks its best by keeping the shelves stocked, creating attractive arrangements, organizing the product, and dealing with damaged items.
• Provide top-notch customer service in the liquor section by efficiently managing claims, setting up zoning, and following strict adherence to all alcohol sales policies.
• Conduct transactions utilizing cash registers and associated equipment, including managing returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keeping an eye on register supplies, monitoring usage, and promptly replacing low stock can also help ensure efficient cash register performance and inventory control.
• Observe the standard operating procedures and mandatory legal measures for the sale of liquor, which include ensuring the safety of the merchandise, validating the customer's identification, and fulfilling the necessary documentation.

Schedule:

• An employee can earn between $16.00 and $23.00 in wages per hour.
• Factors Leading to Range of Premiums: There are multiple factors that can affect the calculation of a job's extra compensation including employee's location, job title and years of service, which can result in a pay range between $0.35 and $3.00 per hour.
