Associate Optometrist

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality vision care while leveraging advanced technology and resources. Manage optical operations, educate patients on eye health, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and compliance. Maintain a patient-centered approach while ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based vision care, including diagnosing and treating ocular diseases.
• Prescribe and recommend treatments such as medications, LASIK, and cataract surgery.
• Educate patients and associates on eye health, contact lens care, and disease management.
• Utilize advanced optometric technology, including digital phoropters and retinal imaging.
• Oversee optical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Monitor and enhance patient care quality, safety, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Train and mentor associates to maintain high standards of customer service and expertise.
• Recruit and collaborate with healthcare professionals to expand services and patient outreach.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
• Licensed Optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in treating and managing ocular diseases.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
• Familiarity with advanced optometric technology and diagnostic tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Salary:

Annual salary range: $100,000 - $200,000, with additional performance-based bonuses and stock options.
