Job Summary of Distribution Warehouse Maintenance:

As a member of the Maintenance team at Walmart Distribution Centers, you will oversee repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities. Your role will involve utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure efficient operations and safety standards are upheld.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Distribution Warehouse Maintenance:

• Perform maintenance operations including repairs and preventive maintenance on material handling and building equipment.
• Follow established policies and procedures to restore equipment to operational status.
• Interpret technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, schematics) for equipment repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and collaborate with operations and other technicians for solutions.
• Record maintenance actions and manage workload in CMMS.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience of Distribution Warehouse Maintenance:

• Maintenance Technician: Coursework or certification in electronic technology plus 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, or 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology.
• Ammonia Refrigeration Technician: 1 year of industrial refrigeration experience or HVAC experience, with plans to obtain and maintain relevant certifications.
