Staff Pharmacist

Job Summary:

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will be at the forefront of patient interactions, combining your clinical expertise with a commitment to community health. This role involves direct patient communication, leading pharmacy staff, and utilizing technology to enhance patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will be empowered to work to the top of your license and play a key role in both individual patient care and community health initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with patients to provide personalized care, including counseling on medications and health concerns, and administering immunizations.
• Oversee prescription processing, inventory control, and adherence to regulatory and company standards. Guide and support pharmacy staff in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Participate in and organize wellness events and outreach activities to promote health and wellness within the community.
• Ensure all pharmacy practices comply with company policies and legal regulations, including accurate dispensing and record-keeping.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree; completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
• Valid Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
• Strong patient-centered care skills, ability to handle high-volume environments, and experience in community health initiatives.

• Base salary ranging from $98,000.00 to $172,000.00 per year, depending on hours worked and experience.

Salary:

• Aual Salary Range: $98,000.00 - $172,000.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation may be earned through performance bonuses.
